 INGREDIENTS  </p>

     2 pounds ground beef</p>
<p>
     1/2 onion, chopped</p>
<p>
     1/2 green bell pepper, chopped</p>
<p>
     salt and pepper to taste</p>
<p>
     1 (15 ounce) can baked beans</p>
<p>
     1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained</p>
<p>
     1 tablespoon brown sugar</p>
<p>
     1/4 teaspoon chili powder</p>
</p>
<p>
DIRECTIONS</p>
<p>
Saute ground beef for 5 minutes in a large saucepan until browned and add the onion and pepper until softened, season with salt and pepper.</p>
<p>
Mix in the vegetables, seasonings, and brown sugar, stirring well and reducing heat to low, simmering for 20 minutes to an hour or more till desired thickness is achieved.</p>

1 can pork and beans</p>
<p>
1 can kidney beans</p>
<p>
1 can pinto beans</p>
<p>
1 can black beans</p>
<p>
1 can crushed tomatoes</p>
<p>
1 can chopped tomatoes</p>
<p>
1 medium green pepper diced</p>
<p>
1 medium onion, diced</p>
<p>
4 ounces tomato paste</p>
<p>
1 pkg chili seasoning (any brand)</p>
<p>
1 pound beef stew meat</p>
</p>
<p>
Drain the canned kidney, pinto and black beans, rinse thoroughly. </p>
<p>
In a large Crockpot add crushed and chopped tomatoes and paste, chili seasoning to taste, onions, pepper,  meat and beans. (you may cook the meat beforehand and add it now if you like. Simmer 6-8 hours on low heat or on high 3-4 hours and stir occasionally. Serve with shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream.</p>

Brown the ground chuck and drain. Add the sliced peppers or whole and simmer 45 minutes, then remove peppers. If you like the heat, slice them and leave in. There is no wrong way to make this chili, add the ingredients to a saucepan and heat for 20 minutes on medium heat until you want to “ experience it, feeling free to deviate. Do have fun with it!</p>
